Send us a photo of each pet - two, three or four. Real artists hand-draw every portrait, then embroider them side by side in premium Madeira European thread. Each pet gets their own palette and their own set of shades, not one design repeated.

A print cracks and fades with washing. Embroidery does not. This is the version you will still be wearing in five years.

What makes it different

Care & Maintenance
  • Machine wash cold, inside out on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Do not iron directly on embroidery. Do not bleach or use high heat - this preserves the stitching and color. Do not dry clean.

Shipping & Return

Cancellations:
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. After 24 hours, if digitizing has already begun, a $25 digitizing fee will be deducted from your refund to cover the artist's time. Please note that digitizing your pet's portrait into a stitch design takes several hours of skilled work - and once approved, our artisan then hand-selects the right thread colors from a palette of 100+ before the embroidery begins, which takes a few additional hours. Every piece is truly made with care from start to finish.

Returns & Exchanges:
Because every piece is custom made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Please make sure to measure yourself and refer to our size chart before placing your order - we want your piece to fit perfectly! If your order arrives with an error on our part, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it with clear photos and we will make it right.

Revisions:
We want you to love your piece. If something isn't right, reach out and we will work with you until it is.

I truly cannot say enough good things about our custom embroidered sweatshirt from Bark & Dwell! The quality absolutely exceeded my expectations, and the embroidery is so detailed and captured our girls so perfectly even down to the little individual features that make them them. I was honestly amazed at how closely the embroidery resembled the photos I sent in! The entire process could not have been easier, and their communication was above and beyond. They made sure the photos we sent in would translate well into embroidery before getting started, which I really appreciated. I also love the added detail of having their names embroidered on the sleeve, it makes the sweatshirt feel that much more personal and special. You can truly tell how much care and attention to detail goes into their work. Like I said, it turned out even better than I imagined, and it’s something I know I’ll keep forever. I could not recommend Bark & Dwell enough, especially if you’re looking for a meaningful gift for yourself or any pet-obsessed person in your life!
